Clinical Nurse – Surgical Ward – Joondalup Healthcare Campus 

About the role

We are looking for someone to lead our dynamic nursing team in a fast-paced surgical ward tending to various surgical specialities - ENT, orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, breast, gynaecological, plastics, and interventional pain management.

About You

As the Clinical Nurse in the Surgical Ward, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical nursing care to patients. You will work collaboratively with a team of support clinicians to get the best patient outcome.    

You will also bring: 

Essential Criteria: 

• Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
• Minimum Five (5) years’ Experience as a Registered nurse
• Demonstrates excellent time management, problem solving and organisational skills.

Desirable Criteria: 

• Post registration experience in a diverse surgical environment
• Excellent communication and ability to facilitate change
• Proven ability to work as a team leader and foster a motivated team environment
• Previous experience and involvement in Quality Improvement Processes.

Remuneration: On offer is an hourly base salary ranging from $58.38 - $62.60 plus superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Requirements 

• Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
