Registered Nurse – Theatre/DOSA - Strathfield Private Hospital

Permanent Part Time.

About the Role  

The Day Surgery Department is a specialised unit responsible for the efficient admission and preparation of patients undergoing elective surgical procedures. Our team ensures seamless patient care, encompassing pre-operative care as well as post-operative care for day cases, procedural support and post-operative recovery in our dedicated endoscopy unit. We deliver high quality patient centered services. 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ Recovery experience in either Day Surgery or Acute Surgical Hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required 

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $40.24 + $56.52 plus superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Strathfield Private is a teaching hospital for Sydney University, conveniently located 200 metres from Strathfield Train Station. Our facilities encompass 84 beds, 7 operating theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 1 cardiac catheterisation lab, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and a Day Surgery Unit. We also have onsite radiology, pathology, café and specialist consulting suites.

Requirements 

  • Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
