Clinical Nurse – Day Therapy

Permanent Part-Time 

We are seeking experienced, positive and enthusiastic Clinical Nurses to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus in the D0 Public Rehabilitation Ward. 

The Role 

The 25-bed public rehabilitation ward (D0) has many features aimed at supporting the rehabilitation process for our patients. As a Clinical Nurse you are responsible for the delivery of quality patient care, leading the nursing team and assisting Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) with developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice and initiating research, education and quality improvement activities.  

This role will work closely with the CNM and multidisciplinary team in the coordination of patient care. 

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to; 

  • Maintaining and improving the standard of nursing care, providing clinical expertise and local leadership.
  • Maintain positive relationships and strong communication networks with doctors, patients and other stakeholders so that quality clinical outcomes are achieved
  • Managing rapidly changing situations that affect patient care and workload
  • Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of Joondalup Health Campus. 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset working within a hospital, with a passion for providing quality patient focused care. Your strong leadership, ability to inspire and motivate, excellent time management and developed clinical problem-solving skills are essential for this role. 

Successful candidates will also meet the following criteria;

  • Relevant registration with the AHPRA
  • Minimum of three years post graduate experience
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation environment
  • Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators and other quality projects
