About the Role
Our state-of-the-art cardiac services at Pindara support a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care, including a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, specialised theatres, and a multidisciplinary team of cardiac professionals. Alongside a 24/7 Emergency Department, our facilities include a dedicated Coronary Care Unit, acute cardiac ward, Intensive Care Unit, and more.
We are seeking an experienced Coronary Care Unit nurse to join our specialised CCU team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred cardiac care. In this role, you will work closely with leading cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team within a dynamic and supportive environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with coronary care experience looking to further develop their skills in a high-performing clinical setting.
About you
You will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. Your availability to cover a cover a 7-day rotating roster including AM / PM and night duty is essential.
You will also demonstrate:
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as registered nurse (experience in cardiac care preferred)
- Experience in high care or critical care environments
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team
- Experience in a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory would be viewed favourably, although not essential for applicants to this Coronary Care Unit position.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant nursing field are desirable, with a preference for those specific to cardiac care.
Remuneration: On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01 plus superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
- Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
