The Opportunity
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital. From patient rooms to shared spaces, your work will ensure our clinic remains a safe and supportive environment for recovery and care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and hospital facilities to a high standard
- Making patient beds and distributing linen
- Cleaning, restocking, and safely storing equipment
- Working collaboratively with your team to achieve shared goals
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff and colleagues
Shifts available:
Day shift: 8.00 - 15.00 or 9.00 - 15.00
After hours shift: 19.30 - 0130
About You
You are reliable, motivated, and take pride in delivering excellent housekeeping services. With a strong work ethic and a positive, “can do” attitude, you enjoy working as part of a team while also being able to manage tasks independently.
You will bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting (highly regarded)
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently
- A professional and respectful approach when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable nature
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons and nights

Requirements
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
