A leading provider of orthopaedic, neurosurgery, cardiac, obstetrics, and oncology care, North Shore Private is a key teaching hospital for the University of Sydney, with specialists at the forefront of research and innovation.
This role will also include territory coverage for Castlecrag and Hunters Hill as part of the North Shore Network, expanding your impact across a wider catchment area.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the hospital CEO and working closely with the Doctor Engagement Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with referrers, marketing hospital services, and driving referral growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow key specialties and increase patient referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, specialists, and key stakeholders in the region.
- Promote hospital specialists and services through targeted GP engagement and visits, CPD programs, and marketing initiatives.
- Identify and leverage business development opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Manage and maintain an accurate GP database.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to measure impact and demonstrate ROI.
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare sales, business development, or liaison roles.
- Strong understanding of the specialist-referrer relationship, including GPs and healthcare professionals.
- Proven ability to drive referrals, exceed targets, and build strategic networks.
- Skilled in data analysis, CRM systems, and market monitoring to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Confident in cold calling and engaging referrer groups.
- Event management experience and flexibility for after-hours events as required.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
