Gastroenterology/Day Procedures Unit
Anaesthetics – Full time or Part time role
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Clinical Nurse. This is an advanced level Registered Nurse role, acting as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in, the education of all graduates and novice staff by being involved in department orientation, in-service and clinical programs.
The flexibility to work a rotating roster including afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role.
FT or PT (64hours per fortnight minimum)
About the Role
The Gastroenterology/Day Procedures Unit department at Greenslopes Private Hospital provides gastroenterology and minor procedure care across ten procedural rooms.
The recently completed $7 million expansion and re-development project increased the total number of operating theatres/procedural areas to ten with two new theatres and seven additional recovery bays.
About You
You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience as an Anaesthetics Nurse. While leadership or management experience within a clinical setting will be highly desirable, this role will also suit an experienced Nurse looking to step up.
Essential:
- Minimum three (3) years post-grad clinical experience in Anaesthetics
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to always act as a positive role model and as a professional
- Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative speciality (highly regarded)
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
