Graduate Certificate of Intensive Care Nursing AND Graduate Certificate of Cardiac Nursing Care
The WPH Executive and Critical Care Management team are eager to offer Division 1 Registered Nurses the opportunity to enter the above post graduate program.
All subjects completed within this qualification will amount to 4 credit points toward the Master of Nursing Practice at Deakin University-Burwood.
ICU: 12 bed level 2 ICU with a case mix that includes cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery and high acuity general and orthopaedic surgery. Support to the hospital with code blue and MET Call responsiveness.
Cardiac: 24 bed cardiothoracic unit with case mix including post cardiac surgery,
interventional cardiology and a mix of acute and chronic cardiology patients.
Course Details
Commencement date: JULY, 2025
Completion date: JUNE, 2026
Course structure: 4 paid Clinical Shifts per week and 1 unpaid university day per week (26 weeks)
Pre-requisite: Div 1 Registered Nurse, 2 years post Graduate (minimum)

About Our Hospital
Warringal Private Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. Requirements
