The Opportunity

We are now recruiting for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to hone your clinical skills with us now in this highly rewarding role. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.

We are seeking a registered nurse to provide intermittent support for our Assessment Team; to assist with cover for annual leave, sick leave, and busy periods. This position requires an experienced registered nurse who is able to work flexible hours, sometimes at short notice, to assess patients referred to Donvale from the acute sector for an inpatient rehabilitation program.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in an acute care setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the rehabilitation process.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills across a broad range of patient presentations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

Shift hours are primarily 8am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri.

 

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $53.66 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife Gr3B)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
