About the Role
Masada Private Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our 30-bed Orthopaedic/Aged Care Rehabilitation Unit. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team alongside a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions across a diverse caseload, including adult inpatients in acute wards, inpatient rehabilitation, and day rehabilitation. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and students, contributing to clinical education and supporting ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services across acute, rehabilitation, and day rehab settings
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and support hospital discharge planning
- Mentor and supervise junior therapists and students
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in departmental quality improvement projects
- Contribute to staff and community education on Occupational Therapy services
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
- Current and unconditional registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience in hospital settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to quality improvement and service development.
Desirable Criteria
- Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience or experience in a senior clinician role.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation.
- Membership with OT Australia (or working towards accreditation).

Remuneration
- Grade 2 (year level dependent on experience) - (RHC VIC Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement).
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
