The Opportunity
We are seeking Registered Nurse to join our team at Surgical Centre Miranda. This role will see you specifically performing Scrub/Scout duties working with our Ophthalmic patients. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Your duties will include (but not limited to):
- Completing Scrub/Scout duties within the ophthalmic speciality
- Responding to unexpected outcomes and uses problem solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Ophthalmic department.
- Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace including occupational safety and health acts and workers’ compensation
Skills and Experience
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years in a nursing role essential
- Previous experience working across operating theatres. Specific ophthalmic experienced is required
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
Remuneration
On offer is hourly base salary ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72]
