Registered Nurse to join our friendly Infusion Unit

About the Role
St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital Infusion Unit specialises in the care and support of patients cancer patients and immune disorders requiring infusion and cytotoxic therapies including chemotherapy, haematological treatments, iron infusions, blood infusions and specialist drug infusions.
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team which prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for our patients requiring the above Oncology and Haematology procedures. In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate proficiency in intravenous administration, including the use of infusion pumps, intravenous injections, and therapies, as well as experience with IV infusions, cannulation, PICC line care, central venous catheters, and the safe handling of blood product.
You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring;
- Relevant Registration with AHPRA
- Cannulation Skills and CVAD management experience highly regarded
- Minimum one years’ experience within an acute care environment with Oncology/Haematology experience highly regarded
- Ability to work within a team
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $41.89 - $54.01 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife gr2-gr8)

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
