Casual Opportunity | Theatre Transport (PM Shifts)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Perioperative Services team in a casual PM shift role, responsible for the safe and timely transport of patients from the wards and Day Surgery to Theatre.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play an essential role in supporting perioperative workflow by ensuring patients are safely and comfortably transferred to theatre in a timely manner. What You’ll B Doing
- Transporting patients from wards and Day Surgery to the operating theatres
- Providing safe, person-centred clinical care during patient transfers
- Supporting perioperative workflow and maintaining timely theatre schedules
- Communicating effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing teams
- Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a busy environment
- Promoting a culture of safety, empathy, and respect across all interactions
About You
You are a motivated and confident Registered Nurse who takes pride in delivering exceptional care. Your calm, solution-focused approach allows you to navigate challenges with professionalism, and you thrive as part of a collaborative team.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in perioperative or acute care nursing.
- Previous experience in theatre transport (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills.
- A flexible and proactive approach to patient care.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).

- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
