About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Wardsperson to support our clinical and non-clinical teams at Ramsay. In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth patient transport and overall hospital support services.

You will:

  • Assist with the safe and respectful transport of patients throughout the hospital
  • Support staff during manual handling tasks, using appropriate aids and equipment
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations
  • Clean equipment and hospital areas as required
  • Perform a range of duties as directed by the Patient Transport Manager or After-Hours Coordinator

This is a casual opportunity ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully while enjoying work-life flexibility.

 

About You
You are a team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for patient care. You understand the importance of both clinical support and compassionate service.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Experience with patient manual handling (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care (highly regarded but not essential)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
