About the Role
Noosa Private Hospital is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and Clinical Nurses (CN) to join our dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team.
As a Level 2 facility, our ICU is accredited for four intensive care beds and four close observation/telemetry beds. This specialised environment offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients while working in a supportive and collaborative team.
About the Opportunity
As a valued member of our ICU team, you will:

Deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care to critically ill patients.

Monitor complex medical conditions and respond promptly to changes in patient status.

Work collaboratively with intensivists, allied health professionals, and nursing colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
In addition to the responsibilities above, the Clinical Nurse position represents an advanced nursing role. The CN acts as a clinical and professional resource, demonstrating advanced critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and leadership in supporting and guiding the ICU team. The CN also manages a designated portfolio aligned to the NSQHS Standards, contributing to ongoing quality improvement and patient safety.
Your Skills and Experience
Essential for both RN & CN roles:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in a critical care setting.

Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Full working rights in Australia.
Additional requirements for the Clinical Nurse role:

Postgraduate qualification in Intensive Care or Critical Care (essential).

Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in the care of critically ill patients.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support colleagues.

Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
-
Commitment to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Desirable for both roles:
-
Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care/Intensive Care (preferred for RNs).

Strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to excellence in patient care.
Remuneration: Pay and conditions will be in accordance with the Ramsay Health Care Queensland Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement 2024 (effective 26 February 2024). Classification and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
