About the Role
Position: Plant Coordinator [Nightshift]
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Coordinator to manage our fleet of machinery at our Tauranga Stevedoring and Log Marshalling Operation. The Plant Coordinator is pivotal in overseeing refueling, repairs, and machinery coordination within our operations.
Hours of work are 1600-0400 on a 4-day on, 4-day off schedule.
Location: Port of Tauranga
Status: Full Time
Specific Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy loaders, excavators, forklifts, trucks and trailers
- Servicing machinery
- Repairs to attachments, grapples, log heads and clamps
Are you the right fit?
- Must have a Class 2 License or overseas equivalent
- The ability to inspect and report on plant equipment
- Work extended hours and weekend work as required
- Familiarity with heavy plant equipment
- Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment
