About the Role
Position: Truck Driver
Qube Ports are looking for truck drivers to join our Napier operations. This position involves metro-based work, with set shifts available: AM from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM and PM from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. A strong work ethic is essential. If you have a background in transport operations (such as log cartage) or experience in the heavy vehicle industry, we’d love to hear from you.
Location: Napier
Status: Permanent Full-time positions available. Mon-Fri with occasional weekend work when required.
Specific Responsibilities
- Transport logs from the designated log yard to the port of Napier.
- Handle physically demanding tasks, including throwing chains over loads.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle upkeep.
- Communicate effectively over radio.
Key attributes required:
- Clean Class 5 Licence.
- Physically fit and safety-conscious.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
