ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the Vessel Manifesting, material receipt, storage and kitting of work orders and the returns process including managing all repair and disposals. To manage the equipment, tools and consumables inventory to ensure safety critical items are fit for purpose and in good condition.

Maintaining warehouse overall health and stock accuracy to ensure material availability. You will be responsible for collating and reporting warehouse data on the overall operation at the facility.

Stakeholder engagement is a key component of this roll the ability to effectively communicate with client and vendors is critical to the role. Providing feedback on current stocking strategies and recommendations on inventory optimisation.

This role will be 12hour shift on a 3 week on / 3 week off day shift roster cycle. The successful applicants must be based in Western Australia.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain reporting systems utilizing approved systems
  • Assist HSSE in investigations and process improvement as required to improve overall safety and performance within the operation
  • Liase with Deck Services teams for container packing / unpacking, deck and substructure materials movements
  • Daily discussions with Offshore Marine Team Lead to ensure safe and effective discharging and backloading sequences of supply vessels
  • Discuss with Production team regarding the chemicals skids and the movements of the Iso tanks
  • M041 and SDS’s are accompanying Dangerous goods materials whilst following backloading processes
  • Infield supply vessel movement and preparation of backloaded materials / containers
  • Ensuring food and bin containers are worked correctly and waste segregation is adhered too.
  • Has materials prepared and secured for inclement weather / sea state
  • Develop and review workflow documents
  • Personnel Management and team building
  • Understands risk management with respect to materials management and ensures personnel understand their responsibilities with respect to materials handling, segregation and control. Includes chemicals, waste, marine and helicopter handling requirements.
  • Review and approve/decline stock returns requests, ensuring no ‘contamination’ of stores with damaged or incorrect materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with processes to appropriately identify, segregate and handle different materials where mixing, contamination or degradation could cause undesired outcomes – e.g. imperial and metric Swagelok fittings, carbon and stainless steel, moisture in electrical and electronic components
  • Prepares materials receiving reports and Material Discrepancy Reports (MDR) for all materials received and submits to Materials Controller for further action.
  • Ensure that defects within the warehouse or storage system are identified and reported with action points, due completion dates and recommendations for improvements. Such as, incorrect bin locations, inappropriate storage methods, inappropriate preservation methods, potentially unserviceable materials
  • Conduct ad-hoc stock checks as directed by Materials Controller for verification to meet operational requirements outside of the annual stock check plan.
  • Enters issues in SAP and ensures that associated material issue slips are raised and correctly processed and warehouse copies are properly filed.

Safety

  • To comply with Qube’s health and safety policy and procedure

Qualifications and Experience

  • MSIC, BOSIET with CA-EBS (5750) and Escape Chute Training (5770)
  • Offshore Warehouse experience of 5 Years with a good understanding of End to End Supply Chain.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks subject to criticality and Operational demand
  • Able to describe general principles, process and key activities related to receiving, checking, issuing, transporting, packaging, kitting, storing, prefabricating and preserving goods to required standards.
  • Proficient reporting skills, demonstrated ability to analyze and report warehouse data using SAP & Microsoft Suite programs
  • SAP Experience with MM/QM modules
  • Dangerous goods by air and sea qualified current or the ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of D.G. handling, storage and transfers.
  • Knowledge of materials management handling requirements for offshore helicopter and marine transport operation.
  • Has ability to work independently whilst leading a team of both day and nightshift personnel.

Desirable

  • Certificate/qualification in warehousing or logistics discipline highly desirable
  • Experience in repairs and maintenance of oil & gas materials operations
  • Demonstrated experience in emergency processes, E.G., spill response medical first aid and facility evacuation
  • Specific discipline knowledge (e.g. mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, rotating and static equipment will be highly valued
