Qube Bulk division provides complete mine to market and mine resupply solutions offering mine, road, rail, storage, port and ship services. We handle more than 85 million tonnes per annum of various bulk ores, concentrates, mineral sands, salt, coal and dangerous goods.

About the role:

We are currently seeking four driver trainers to join our team. As part of this role, the driver trainers will be training new employees who have just received their MC qualifications to the Qube standard so the new employees can be deployed to the site. The training location will be at the Blackwater site and the driver trainer roster will be 7 days on 7 days off.

Key aspects of this role include:

• Comply with Qube Health Safety and Environment, and Learning Policies and supporting procedures
• Assist with the implementation of the driver school training plans/projects
• Ensure all relevant training/compliance documentation is completed for each trainee
• Train new employees as per the driver training plan
• Coordinate necessary training resources, for trainees.  Assist in the development and review of training material as required
• Provide support to all candidates to achieve progress towards competency in training undertaken
• Fill in as a driver if required

To be successful in this role it is essential candidates have:

• Multi Combination Driver's License
• Cert IV in workplace training and assessment or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator
• Intermediate computer skills Microsoft Office, tools
• Be able to meet all SSAN security checks- ASIO and police checks
