About the Role

Role Type: Full-Time

The Yard Operator is responsible for operating the site equipment and machinery in the yard, unload/load trucks, pack/unpack materials into offshore units and perform general yard duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of offshore containers, freight, special equipment etc.
• Load restraint
• Stuffing and de-stuffing of containers
• Housekeeping of the yard area
• Ensuring compliance of all yard procedures
• Inspection and maintenance of containers, slings and lifting equipment

Essential Skills & Experience

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Car)
• Current Forklift High Risk Licence (LF)

Desirable Skills & Experience 

• Current Dogman High Risk Licence
• Experience in Warehousing
• Dangerous Goods Awareness
• Working at heights
• First Aid certificate
