Qube Energy is an established provider of integrated logistics services to both the onshore & off shore oil and gas sectors. Our services include Supply Base and transport operations. We are ideally suited to provide comprehensive support to the Oil and Gas industry with supply bases strategically positioned in Darwin, Dampier, Fremantle, Queensland, Melbourne, Portland, Bell Bay and Barry Beach.

Reporting to the Site Operations and Queensland Managers,  the primary purpose of the Logistics Operations Coordinator is to be the logistics functional and processes expert onsite with the ability to adopt and implement best practices.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Deliver Supply Chain commitments approved through relevant Service Level Agreements and Manage Supply Chain Performance Indicators.  
  • Develop detailed logistics plans for producing operations, wells, and projects within an area. Includes time to create the base logistics plan, updating of the base plan as the detailed planning progresses and attendance at appropriate Asset Planning Sessions. 
  • Match upcoming demand in area against available logistics resources. Make recommendations for excessive demand requirements that could exceed Contracted capacity.  
  • Identification of needs and issues in the execution window
  • Actively participate in the Asset or Functional Management System (eg – Daily Production Reviews, Morning Rig Calls, IAP/IS Meetings, Accountability Reviews  
  • Make and receive daily calls to rig locations and vendors to understand readiness of current and planned activity. Routinely visits the field to build and maintain critical relationships and observe Supply Chain Activities infield.
  • Effectively engage and support asset focal points, materials office, rig and maintenance personnel, Road Transport, and vendors to develop and assure the logistics schedule.
  • Work closely with the Materials and Personnel Coordinators to ensure opportunities to optimize logistics resources across assets are realized.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues causing inefficient or costly operations
  • Coordinate sub-contractors when required to execute the demand of transport operations.
  • Ensure DIFOT is maintained at the highest level

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a logistics or supply chain operations  
  • Capable of learning a variety of supply chain, planning and scheduling software  
  • Experience working with contract management and past delivery through suppliers  
  • Experience in Oil and Gas operations is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communications and networking skills  
  • Willing to work in a process-driven organisation inclusive of problem-solving and continuous improvement  
  • COR skills/training reference
