The Opportunity

Qube Bulk have a new and challenging opportunity for an experienced MC Driver Trainer & Assessor to join our Rockingham team.

*Applicants need to be within a 45-minute driving distance from Rockingham*

  • Roster – 6:3 Day and Night shift – Open to flexibility
  • Competitive hourly rate + weekly allowances paid
  • Operating/training on a variety of trailer combinations
  • Reporting direct into the Transport Supervisor

This role will see the successful applicant working as an MC driver with the responsibility to train and successfully pass out new bulk employees, contractors, clients and visitors, and other stakeholders within the operations.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Training and Assessing on various Mobile Plant and Equipment
  • Verification of Competency Assessments with MC Drivers & Machine Operators 
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision 
  • Well organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to details 
  • Hands on approach to teamwork, positive attitude and superior customer service skills are essential 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Current MC Drivers Licence – Essential
  • Dangerous Goods Licence – Essential
  • Current High-Risk Forklift licence - Desirable
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - Desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience to meet AQF requirements on customer sites
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MC driving operations
  • Competent operator in a range of skills relevant to the specific work environment e.g. Truck driving of various combinations, load and unload techniques of AN
  • Knowledge of company standards and expectations
  • Demonstrates ability to explain tasks and information to others and provide guidance and feedback when someone is doing a task incorrectly
  • Demonstrates ability to identify and challenge a person or group of people when they breach safety policy or procedure
