Qube Bulk have a great new opportunity for a Port Maintenance Supervisor to join our Port Hedland Eastern Operations in Port Hedland.

This role is to co-ordinate/supervise the day to day activities of the PHEO in consultation with Planner Coordinator. 

  • Roster: Monday to Friday

Reporting into the Port Maintenance and Infrastructure Superintendent & Port Electrical and Infrastructure Superintendent

 

Specific Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Conduct audits of all works performed prior to handing back equipment to operation to ensure all task have been completed and meet standards.
  • Delegate tasks to direct reports or subcontractors in line with skill, knowledge and ability and where necessary identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Ensure direct or subcontractor reports comply with Company’s policies and procedures before work is carried out.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair activities for all Qube mobile fleet, owned, leased or hired
  • Responsible for maintenance leadership, guidance and instructions when working with Apprentices and Trades Assistants.
  • Keep the Superintendent/s informed of any issues preventing Scheduled Maintenance from being carried out

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • HV Diesel Mechanical trade qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Heavy Diesel maintenance in Fix Plant and Mobile Plant
  • Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people including culture, diversity and inclusivity.
  • Skills in using a computer with experience in Microsoft Office and maintenance systems
  • Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work well within a small team environment
