ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary purpose of the Regional Asset & Maintenance Manager – Qube Energy is to guide operational management teams to ensuring that all Qube Energy assets are managed in line with client, regulatory and company requirements. The role is also to support the Management team with project as required.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Working inside the senior Asset Management team guidelines, implement and maintain maintenance management processes and procedures for Qube Energy
  • Support the National Asset Manager with the asset procurement process during asset replacements, refurbishments and new site implementations
  • Support improvement with the repair and maintenance expenditure across the Qube Energy
  • Support to underperforming sites to manage and meet KPI’s
  • Ensure application of minimum Qube Energy asset specifications are met
  • Set up of new assets in designated CMMS ensuring OEM maintenance regimes and inspections are established at the correct frequency
  • Identify and develop key vendor relationships for Lease/Rent/Purchase/Maintenance
  • Analyse and report on underperforming/underutilised assets and seek out new opportunities, reposition or disposal
  • Oversee and support the operating units in effective utilisation of Qube internal maintenance platform
  • Ensure all OEM recommendations are being adhered to with regard to the operation and maintenance to achieve acceptable levels of machinery/ equipment availability and reliability
  • Analyse and report on key maintenance performance indicators across the Qube Energy business
  • Manage training for Site Maintenance employees on the usage of Qube maintenance systems
  • Assist in investigations for any major incidents involving machinery/ equipment.
  • Support NAM on engineering, asset and innovation strategic goal business plan objectives
  • Provide a detailed monthly report to NAM
  • Complete action plans within EVTVIA as required
  • Meet with NAM and other key staff to discuss new and innovative ideas for the business and their needs

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Asset Management ideally in a transport or logistics environment
  • Qualifications in mechanical & engineering
  • Managerial background
  • Possess strong analytical/ fault finding skills with the ability to read and understand complex schematics
  • Management of contract maintenance providers
  • Experience working in a continuous improvement environment

Key Competencies/Skills Required

  • Good knowledge and experience of best practice in Transport & Heavy industry plant and equipment maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
  • Ability to implement and deliver policies and procedures.
  • Excellent IT Skills, working within Qube systems
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Experience in managing safety in the workplace, including the operations of Health, Quality Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work within a close team
