Qube Ports manages 25 sites for the forestry industry in Australia and New Zealand and is also the leading provider of supply chain logistics services to the energy sector, supporting thousands of onshore wells and rig supply vessels, barges and offshore construction vessels annually.

We lead the market in providing purpose-designed solutions for our customers, handling containers, bulk, automotive and general cargo. 

About the role

The primary purpose of the Contracts manager is to provide liaison and negotiation with clients in regard to their contractual matters with Qube. 

Role location: Sydney

Role type: Full-Time

 

What will your role at Qube look like?

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensure contracts are monitored and renewals/variations flagged and actioned.
  • Review of client contract T&C’s
  • Review leases
  • Review Confidentiality Agreements
  • Review credit T&C’s
  • Assist GM Commercial as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Exemplary customer relations skills ideally gained in the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong contract management in Oil and Gas
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State contracts and commercial legislation and standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform
  • Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work well within a small team environment
  • Strong commercial focus,
  • High level analytical skills
