The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Parts Administrator to join the well-established team in Port Augusta. This position is a full-time opportunity, responsible for supporting the Port Augusta workshop team.

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Monday – Friday, 38-hour week

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective data entry & data management, with requirements to compile information for reporting in a timely manner
  • Input meter and hour readings, defects, completed work orders into MainPac
  • Input completed work orders, workshop timesheets, inventory & tyres used into Mainpac
  • Management of stock orders & stocktake for workshop inventory
  • Creating & actioning purchase orders
  • Accounts payable & receivable management
  • To ensure all relevant paperwork is collated and attached as per invoicing procedures
  • Maintain a register and assist in the processing of employee inductions
  • Assist with general administrative tasks when required
  • Maintain employee personnel & training files 

Qualification & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an administrative role or similar position
  • Certificate II or III in Business or equivalent qualification.
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skills preferred
  • Email management, data entry and working across spreadsheets skills preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and oral
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
  • Accounts payable experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Proven ability to pick up internal systems (IT) quickly
  • Flexible approach with strong business acumen
