ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the Site Supervisor is to manage the day-to-day operations of the facility
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision of yard and warehouse personnel
- Ensuring compliance of all procedures
- Co-ordinate vessel load / unloading
- Coordination of trucks, cranes and other vehicles or equipment through the facility
- Monitor and document containers going on and off Marine Vessels
- Creating IMDG declarations and documents
- Supervise the loading and unloading of offshore containers, freight and specialist equipment
- Load restraint compliance
- Inspection and maintenance of containers, slings and lifting equipment
- Housekeeping of warehouse and designated port area.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Minimum 5 years Supervisory experience or relevant Production Supply Base experience
- High risk forklift license
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable legislation relating to load restraints
- Demonstrated experience completing IMDG documentation
- Demonstrated experience handling dangerous goods
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
Desirable
- Minimum Certificate III qualifications in warehousing, storage, transport and logistics
- High risk Dogman license
- Certificate IV in Logistics
