About the role
Position: Finance Manager
Location: Outer Harbor, SA
Status: Full Time
Duties
The Finance Manager provides the delivery of leadership, technical knowledge, and operational experience to manage the day-to-day finance operations and workforce. You will be responsible for finance and administrative activities including budget and P&L’s whilst retaining a business operations and customer service focus at all times.
- Support the State General Manager and all operational divisions
- Lead, motivate and guide all direct reports
- Prepare all monthly P&L reports
- Complete monthly state balance sheet and accounts
- Oversee and monitor accounts payable and receivables and take action as required
- Oversee and monitor payroll
- Provide advice to pay structures
- Interpret and implement local and modern awards as required
- Implement local payroll changes to operational and salaried employees
- Provide advice and assistance to line managers in preparing their departments P&L’s and forecasts
- Oversee and input rate changes into operating systems
- Ensure customers and clients are set up correctly in internal systems
- Respond to queries both internal and external promptly and efficiently
- Maintain and record rate, rent and lease schedules for property and equipment
- Manage and oversee facility contracts and procurement as instructed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for company sub-contractors (licenses, insurances etc)
- Prepare reports daily, weekly, monthly as instructed by GM & Ops Manager
- Conduct any other duties as required and directed
- Working as a team across all sections of the business
About You
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi skill, be flexible and adapt to changing needs of a work environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Finance.
