About the Role

Position: Administrator – Operations & Workshop

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented administrator with a passion for supporting both operational and mechanical teams? Qube is looking for an Administrator – Operations & Workshop to provide essential support across our port services and engineering functions in Timaru. This is a dynamic role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Location: Timaru Port

Status: Full-time position working Monday to Friday

Your job duties would be:

  • Provide admin support across the operational and workshop teams
  • Manage various data entry tasks, job numbers, and employee records
  • Coordinate travel, training, and third-party labour
  • Liaise with suppliers and maintain stock (including PPE)
  • Handle general office tasks like reporting, filing, and minute taking

You will also need to:

  • Strong admin experience preferably within an operational and/or workshop environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Great communication and time management
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
