ABOUT THE ROLE

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key leadership role in ensuring the seamless coordination of heavy vehicle and driver movements, while overseeing the efficient day-to-day operations as well as the QE supply chain operations. This position is pivotal in maintaining high standards of service delivery through strict adherence to company policies, legislative requirements, and client expectations.

Additionally, the role is responsible for driving the success of Linehaul operations and project logistics, ensuring full integration and alignment with broader Qube Transport strategies. A strong focus is also placed on leveraging the Qube Connect application to optimise freight operations across Western operations, supporting innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertake the co-ordination of all heavy vehicle and driver movements for the QE Linehaul and local scope works / service in the - West
  • Serve as liaison with all stakeholders for daily operational activities, as well as the key focal point for all QE – West clients
  • Undertake the coordination of maintenance on all trucks and trailers, in conjunction with the QE Administrators and Asset Coordinators
  • Ensure the preparation and allocation of all operational documents daily
  • Ensure vehicle and driver compliance of all HSE, Main roads including Qube policy and procedures
  • Prepare / coordinate the work / shift rosters for all general & linehaul operations
  • Prepare and conduct daily toolbox meetings with drivers/operators
  • Liaise with all subcontractors, ensuring compliance and scope awareness
  • Customer liaison for project and large long-term operations
  • Ensure contracts are being serviced in accordance with their terms and conditions.
  • Ensure submission of monthly, weekly and daily reporting
  • Monitor cartage dockets & Operational documents daily to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with operations and HSE and issue Journey Management Plans for all tasks performed, ensuring accuracy and updating / conducting reviews accordingly.
  • Oversee / coordinate the daily movements within the QE site for warehousing and for sub-contractors.
  • Utilisation of Qube Connect daily
  • Ensure accountability processing of Driver time sheets & all completed scope works is captured and accrued daily

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years' experience in a logistics or supply chain operations 
  • Experience working with contract management and past delivery through suppliers 
  • Experience in Oil and Gas operations is preferred, but not required
