Qube Cadet Program

The Qube Cadet Program sets the framework for recent graduates and high-school leavers to enter the logistics and/or transport industry via Qube.

This 2-year program sees cadets gain experience within various parts of the business.

Throughout the 2-year program, not only do we provide training and mentoring at every stage of development, there are also regular check-ins with the Qube team to ensure you stay engaged along your Qube journey.

Role: Full Time

Location: NSW - Sydney CBD

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the People & Culture Cadet is to provide support to the HR function and services to the business across a range of Human Resource activities. 

 Specific Responsibilities:

 Recruitment

  • Assist sites in submitting requests through Page Up
  • Advertise each role through Page Up
  • Book Pre-Employment Medicals where needed
  • Provide assistance to the businesses for new starters (on-boarding packs & paperwork etc.)
  • Manage Page Up requests:
    • Check all open roles each month
    • Follow up with hiring managers
  • Close off and communicate to unsuccessful applicants once role is filled
  • Assist People & Culture Business Partner with large recruitment drives

 Reporting

  • Provide reporting for various P&C metrics for the monthly P&C Report

 Organisation Chart

  • Review and communicate updated Qube Ports organisation charts

Position Descriptions

  • Ensure all roles have a relevant Position Description

 Communication

  • Management of the HR inbox including following up on enquiries, and ensuring all emails have been actioned and responded to.

 Recognition of Service

  • Manage the communication to sites around anniversaries for their employees
