About the Role
Position: Casual Machine Operator – Wheel Loader & Material Handler
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced operator to drive both a Wheel Loader and a Wheeled Material Handler at our Napier port and debarker site. This casual role offers flexibility and is ideal for someone with strong log handling experience.
Status: Casual (flexible, as and when required) $42.18/hour + 8% holiday pay
Location: Napier Port/Debarker
Specific Responsibilities
- Operate wheel loaders and material handlers at the Napier port and debarker yards.
- Safely arrange, transfer, and load logs in the yard.
- Communicate clearly with the team to ensure smooth operations.
Key Requirements:
- Experience operating wheel loaders and/or material handlers.
- Strong background in log handling.
- A positive, safety-focused attitude.
- Full NZ Driver’s License.
- Must be able to work shift work.
