ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for inspecting and treating customer assets and equipment to control and eliminate pests using fumigation methods. Ensures the safe handling and application of chemicals in compliance with Australian regulations. Maintains accurate treatment records and provides guidance on pest prevention.
LOCATION: NORTH WEST SUPPLY BASE, KARRATHA
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect customer assets and equipment to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate fumigation treatments.
- Prepare and apply fumigants safely, following manufacturer instructions and regulatory safety standards.
- Monitor treated assets and equipment and carry out follow-up inspections as required.
- Maintain accurate records of fumigation activities, chemicals used, and safety procedures.
- Advise customers on best practices for pest prevention and equipment maintenance.
- Comply with all occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1+ Years’ experience in a similar role
- Specialised systems knowledge
- Computer literate and experienced in MS Office Suite
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Car)
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Dangerous Goods Awareness
