What's the role?  

Qube Bulk are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team, based at either our Hendra office in Brisbane or Perth. The Customer Service Representative is the primary point of contact for Qube Bulk clients internal and external. This frontline role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by efficiently managing enquiries, coordinating quotes bids and orders, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring accurate and timely communication throughout the supply-chain process. The position plays a key part in maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and supporting the retention and growth of customer relationships.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries via phone, email, portal, and EDI channels.
  • Accurately receive, process, and track customers, engagements, and quoting in Qube’s operational systems (Salesforce, Origin).
  • Coordinate with operations, planning, business development and commercial teams to resolve operational issues and ensure service commitments are met.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or discrepancies quickly and professionally, escalating where necessary.
  • Generate and distribute daily/weekly reports, and documentation as required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, contact details, and special requirements in the CRM and operational systems.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional Qube services during client interactions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the customer service team.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administration role, preferably within transport, logistics, shipping, or bulk commodities (highly regarded).
  • Experience using transport management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), or terminal operating systems (advantageous).
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Certificate II or III in Transport & Logistics, Customer Service, or Business (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and develop skills as we will teach you
  • Ability to type accurately at 40+ wpm and manage multiple systems simultaneously
