Position: Casual Log Truck Driver
Location: Gisborne
Status: Casual – as and when required
We are looking for casual drivers to join our team in Gisborne. These roles provide flexibility and variety, covering shifts when drivers are absent or assisting with afternoon loads.
Shift Options:
- Morning Coverage: Start at 8:00 AM, finishing no later than 6:30 PM
- Afternoon Coverage: Start between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, completing one load and finishing no later than 6:30 PM
Specific Responsibilities
- Safely operate log trucks to transport logs within the region
- Complete scheduled loads efficiently and on time
- Maintain strong communication with dispatch and team members
- Adhere to all safety and compliance requirements
Who we're after:
- Experienced heavy vehicle drivers (log transport experience preferred)
- Hold a Class 5 Driver License
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
- Flexible and proactive attitude to meet operational needs
