Qube Logistics is seeking skilled HC/MC Truck Drivers to join our dynamic team at Newcastle.
These roles will support the site through on-site and external transport.
As a Heavy Vehicle Operator at Qube Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods. You will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles in compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
Candidates must hold a current HC or MC Heavy Vehicle Licence and be able to pass a Commercial Drivers medical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of HC/MC vehicles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with all transport regulations
- Communicate effectively
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents
- Actively participate in training as required
Key Requirements:
- Current HC or MC driver’s license (essential).
- Proven experience driving HC/MC vehicles in a commercial setting.
- Ability to pass a commercial driver’s medical examination.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
