About the Role?
We are currently seeking a Stevedoring Shift Manager for one our locations in Central Queensland.
Specific Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and allocate all labour ensuring necessary skills are assigned to tasks to meet Qube and client expectations inline with budget expectations.
- Achieving safe and cost-effective vessel operational performance results on each shift
- Lead and motivate teams to perform at the highest operational standards championing Qube culture and inclusion.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and Quality standards and standard operating procedures of Qube and client organisations conducting Safe Workplace Inspections and regular Safety Engagements with staff and client representatives.
- Ensure that all statutory obligations and HR/HSE policies are always adhered to
- Ensure effective communication and reporting with both internal and external stakeholders is maintained
- Delivering a positive customer experience with all key stakeholders
- Liaising with clients and build value adding relationships
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar Stevedoring roles managing / leading Stevedoring teams
- Sound technical knowledge and experience in stevedoring, vessel operations and pre- planning to meet operational requirements
- Experience in the management of customer relationship management liaising with clients daily
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing people
- Demonstrated experience in the management of HSE requirements and obligations
