ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary purpose of the Operational Project Coordinator is to efficiently plan and execute all Supply Base, Site, Vessel activities and 3rd party Contractors for daily Operations  

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mobilise to Operational Sites as required for Project start up and execution
  • Support other business units with obtaining operational standards
  • Supply Vessel scopes of work
  • Load/Unload and storage operation on pipeline projects
  • Use of up to 16t forklift for various work scopes
  • Use of reach stacker for various scopes of work
  • To work as directed by the Operational Projects Manager
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders from both a corporate and project site level as required
  • Support the timely and accurate invoicing processes for customer project
  • Collate and validate support documents for invoicing
  • Conduct Journey Management Plans
  • Liaise with QE client, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and Qube Energy staff to ensure on time delivery of project
  • Support business improvement projects for both administrative and operational tasks
  • Audit administrative and operational tasks and provide improvement action plans
  • Provide project plans, timelines and resources required for projects
  • Coordination of trucks, cranes and other vehicles or equipment through the facility
  • Accurate and timely completion and processing of all transport and logistics paperwork (con notes, manifests, etc.)
  • Loading and unloading of offshore containers, freight and specialist equipment
  • Load restraint of various cargo types
  • Conduct inventory processes including stocktaking, warehouse redesign and general receipt and dispatch
  • Tally and reconciliation of material against con notes, manifests, packing lists, stock count sheets, etc.
  • Correct operation and use of yard / warehouse equipment including hand trolleys pallet jacks, scales, air compressors, high pressure water cleaners, loading ramps, fuel pumps, etc
  • Stuffing and de-stuffing of containers
  • Inspection and maintenance of containers, slings and lifting equipment
  • Complying with all HSE policies and procedures
  • Report all damages, faulty equipment, incidents or accidents in a timely manner
  • Correct and safe operation of all vehicles

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience or relevant Supply Base Experience
  • High risk forklift licence
  • Reach stacker licence and experience preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Holder of a current MSIC clearance or able to obtain
  • Familiarity and knowledge of products and equipment common to the construction industry, oil and gas Drilling campaigns and the broader Logistics industry
  • Understanding of current Load Restraint standards and requirements
  • Experience in warehousing and inventory principles and practices
  • Experience in logistics coordination
  • Adequate numeracy and literacy
  • Understanding of requirements for handling and consigning dangerous goods
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation impacting on the role and the business
  • The ability to work as an integrated team
  • Ability to receive both written and verbal instructions and complete requested tasks accordingly
  • Ability to identify problems or hazards and make alternative suggestions
  • Manual driver’s licence required
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding and isolated environment
