    About the Role

    Located in St Mary's, and reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will manage business relationships and lead a small local team. You will cultivate successful business partnerships and manage existing accounts across Northline’s four key areas of service provision: National Freight Management, Warehousing and Distribution, international Freight Management and Project Logistics. In addition, you will manage, coach and lead your direct reports to ensure targets and KPIs are met to achieve the overall growth and success of the Sales function.

     

     Your Duties Include

    • Manage large business accounts autonomously, at high levels, across all industries and assigned geographic areas
    • Grow our business locally to feed into national sales success
    • Engage, motivate and coach your team to achieve individual and team goals and revenue targets
    • Undertake in-depth analysis of sales effectiveness, proposals, rates and schedules to provide strategic input at a senior level on specific market feedback and initiatives
    • Ensure customer needs are met and exceeded to ensure successful, ongoing business relationships
    • Actively seek and report on competitor activity and industry trends, maintaining a register of competitor activity including known accounts, pricing, service standards

     

    To Be Considered for This Role

    • Sales and Relationship Management experience essential
    • Proven experience, mentoring evaluating and rewarding a Sales teams that have achieved or exceeded their targets
    • Previous Industry experience ideally obtained from within the Transport, Warehousing and Logistics Industry highly regarded
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to generate business solutions for customer issues
    • A professional and flexible attitude

    The salary on offer will be commensurate with your skills, experience and knowledge in the Domestic &/or International Freight Management industries.
