    About the Role

    We are seeking an exceptional leader to become the new Branch Manager at our Sydney Branch, located in St Marys.  This is a unique career opportunity to lead a large, diverse team spanning multiple functions including freight operations, linehaul, PUD and Warehousing and build relationships with our highly valued customers.

    This demanding yet rewarding role will suit an enthusiastic leader who has experience in the industry and who is passionate about building high-performing teams and positive safety cultures, as well as directly impacting the overall efficiency and profitability of the branch.  This is an excellent opportunity to optimise operations and make a real impact on our growth and success in the region.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maximise safety performance and team culture through exceptional leadership;
    • Leading by example with a Customer Delight mindset, ensuring the Branch is set up to put the customer first
    • Setting priorities, budgets and plans to achieve overall branch goals and targets;
    • Accessing, optimising and developing capability and resources;
    • Creating and developing initiatives for improvement and innovation;
    • Setting and managing standards and performance KPI’s for the branch;
    • Driving a culture of performance where individual and organisational goals align;
    • Ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, reliability and efficiency, together with sustainable improvement in safety, compliance and environmental performance;
    • Managing revenue, efficiency and cost control to maximise profitability.

    As the successful candidate you will:

    • Possess extensive experience in General Freight, Warehousing or a related industry;
    • Be an experienced leader with strong business acumen, combined with excellent communication skills
    • Have a demonstrated track record of building, maintaining and growing key stakeholder relationships, ideally in the transport, logistics and warehousing industry;
    • Be an outcomes-driven professional, with a history of achieving KPI’s and targets;
    • Have sound influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
    • Be resilient and have absolute integrity, trustworthiness and professionalism;
    • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders;
    • Have strong judgement skills and a proven ability to make firm, fair and consistent decisions.
