    About the role

    Northline is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Account Manager to join our Internal Sales team. In this office-based role, you will be responsible for managing a region-based portfolio of customers, acting as their primary sales point of contact and delivering a consistently high level of service.


    With comprehensive on-the-job training and support, you will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, growing your portfolio and identifying new business opportunities. Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, you will be backed by a collaborative, high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences while increasing share of wallet and driving new business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own, manage, and grow a defined customer portfolio by acting as a trusted advisor and key contact, building strong long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to drive revenue, while consistently performing against our team’s agreed KPIs.
    • Maintain regular and proactive customer engagement through phone, email, Microsoft Teams and face-to-face meetings, including interstate travel as required to strengthen relationships and support business growth.
    • Proactively uncover, develop and convert new business opportunities within customers’ logistics requirements, positioning Northline as a strategic partner across multiple service offerings.
    • Educate and onboard new and existing customers by providing clear information, guidance and training on Northline’s operational processes, administrative requirements and portals.
    • Build strong, collaborative relationships with Operations, Customer Service and Accounts Receivable to ensure customers are fully supported end-to-end, with expectations clearly communicated, implemented and maintained. This includes account setup, service delivery, invoicing and the timely resolution of any issues.
    • Accurately maintain CRM records to track customer activity and opportunities

    To succeed in this role, you’re motivated to learn, improve and perform in a fast-paced environment, with a strong interest in building a career in sales. This role suits someone with sales, logistics, or customer service experience, or anyone with a genuine drive to succeed in sales.


    You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the confidence to engage with customers and build relationships over time.
    A current driver’s license is required, as the role involves regular face-to-face customer meetings and occasional interstate travel.
