What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Business Performance team. This position is responsible for partnering with operations and Centre Support Office to provide expert advice, analysis, ongoing support and guidance to drive performance and profitability of AEG business.
The role:
- Preparation and implementation of the annual budget including maintaining the budget model, assisting business units with analysis and process, and ensuring timely input of information from all stakeholders
- Support the financial and operational re-forecast on a weekly and monthly basis
- Actively manage business performance against budget
- Review P&L’s, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability
- Assist with the implementation of yearly fee increases ensuring timely input from all business units
- Maximise revenue through analysis of our customers & competitors
- Ensure systems are established and maintained to manage and support short-term bottom-up forecasting, particularly of revenue and wages
- Provide financial information, analysis and direction on centre operations that require attention from key stakeholders
- Offer support and guidance to Management, seeking initiatives to outperform targets and mitigating risks
- Provide strategic, forward looking financial insights to help drive growth
- Deliver cost efficiencies through improved visibility, wage control, roster analysis and optimisation recommendations
- Provide expert advice and guidance to support ongoing coaching and financial management capabilities across the business
- Scope and brief new performance reports in Tableau to facilitate user self-service reporting and analysis
Qualifications, skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business / accounting or related field
- Qualified Accountant, studying towards or equivalent experience
- Service industry experience analysing profitability and driving profit growth
- Commercial Management / Financial Analyst experience
- Practical experience partnering business operational teams
Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
