The Gig

We’re searching for a cook who’s ready to:

• Create tasty, healthy menus kids will actually eat
• Team up with our national network of centre cooks to swap ideas and inspo
• Use the brilliant (and free!) Feed Australia program to plan and budget nutritious meals

Who You Are

• A confident, efficient cook who loves healthy food
• Skilled in bulk meal prep, online ordering, stock + budget management
• A stickler for food safety and hygiene
• Great at catering to allergies and diverse dietary needs
• Keen to jump into food‑themed learning moments with children and families

What You Bring

• Food Safety & Handling Certificate
• Cert III in Commercial Cookery (bonus points!)
• Experience in early childhood settings
• First aid (including asthma/anaphylaxis)
• Reliable transport
