Milestones Early Learning Riverstone Rise, located between Gladstone and Tannum Sands,  is looking for a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher for 5 days per week

About the Centre:

Tucked into the friendly Riverstone Rise community in Boyne Island, our centre offers a calm, caring environment where children aged 0–5 can feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. At Milestones Riverstone Rise, we’re all about building strong foundations - nurturing your child’s confidence, creativity, and love of learning from the very beginning. We proudly offer the Lifelong Learning Curriculum, including early literacy, STEM, and a government-approved kindy program to support each child’s transition to school. With strong community ties and close connections to local schools, your child is in caring and capable hands every step of the way.

About the Role

  • Motivate and lead a team of educators in the Kindy room.
  • Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to our local primary school, and positive experiences within our community.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
  • Support the centre to meet/exceed the National Quality Standards.

 About You

  • An Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
  • Relevant teachers’ registration (if applicable)
  • A current Working with Children’s Check or willing to obtain
  • Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
  • A strong commitment to fostering the growth and development of young minds
