The Role
As an Education Advisor this role works closely with, Centre managers, Educational Leaders and Centre teams to support and implement Affinity Education Strategy for educational program, practice and pedagogy. Supported by a dedicated team of professional who value collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Review current educational program and practice in line with approved frameworks and National Quality Standards
- Empower the Educational Leader to provide guidance, training and coaching to their teams
- Provide on the job coaching to Educational Leaders to develop their ability to deliver training and feedback to their teams
- Support the implementation of the Affinity Education Lifelong Learning Curriculum
- Share pedagogical information and resources and encourage reflection and discussion through online and in person workshops and presentations.
- Establish collaborative partnerships with Centre Managers, Educational Leaders, ECTs, centre staff, support staff and management
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent
- Extensive experience working as an ECT, Lead Educator or Centre leadership position
- Experience with curriculum and approved frameworks
- Sound knowledge of ACECQA requirements
- Sound computer literacy skills
- Sound knowledge of legislation relating to early childhood profession
- Understanding of current trends/issues relevant to early childhood profession.
