"Great culture, sophisticated systems & processes and the best team in Early education.”

At Affinity Education Group, we’re on a mission to ensure every child thrives in a safe, nurturing, high-quality learning environment. We’re seeking a skilled and adaptive Operations Specialist to provide hands-on operational support across our early education centres — helping stabilise performance, uplift quality, and embed sustainable, high-performing routines that deliver outstanding outcomes for children, families, and teams.

This is a dynamic, centre-embedded role for a decisive operator who can quickly diagnose challenges, roll up their sleeves, and restore quality, compliance, and commercial confidence.

The Role

As an Operations Specialist, you’ll be deployed by the Director of Operations to support centres experiencing growth, quality, or compliance challenges. Working side-by-side with Centre Managers and educators, you’ll reset standards, coach teams, and embed routines that strengthen day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability.

In this role, you will:

  • Take a hands-on approach to stabilising centre performance, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Identify drivers of underperformance and implement targeted improvement plans.
  • Coach and develop Centre Managers to build capability, confidence, and accountability.
  • Reset and embed non-negotiable standards across quality, compliance, and presentation.
  • Support enrolment growth by improving tour readiness, family experience, and community engagement.
  • Partner with Regional and Operations leaders to deliver sustainable outcomes and prevent repeat intervention.

About You

You’re a calm, credible leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. With strong practical experience in operational turnaround, people leadership, and compliance, you’re passionate about helping others succeed while maintaining a child-first focus.

You’ll bring:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Passion for education and making a positive impact on student outcomes
  • Experienced in achieving targets and meeting safety and compliance standard
  • A current Working with Children’s Check or willing to obtain
  • Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
