The NSF Quantum Technologies Engine in Connecticut (QuantumCT Engine), led by the University of Connecticut, aims to advance American quantum innovation and secure the domestic quantum supply chain by accelerating the commercialization of quantum technologies for national defense, biotechnology and financial services. Through innovation, applied research leading to new technologies, support for inventors and entrepreneurs and workforce development, the QuantumCT Engine will advance quantum sensing, secured communications, computing, and materials through shared test bed, deep-tech incubator, and translation pathways. Reporting to the Senior Director of Licensing at the Technology Commercialization the Technology Transfer Licensing Associate Services, this position will work closely with the OVPR’s Technology Commercialization Services (TCS) technology office to evaluate and manage new inventions, licensing agreements, evaluate IP work with the patent council’s office, and lead discussions for transactions, filings, and contract negotiation. The successful candidate will be energetic, accessible, responsive, and possess the ability to foster collaboration in a dynamic organizational culture to facilitate the translation of quantum science and research to market.

Reporting to the CEO of QuantumCT, and working closely with the Workforce Pillar Leads, the Workforce Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and coordination of workforce development initiatives for the QuantumCT projects. This individual reports directly to the UConn Quantum NSF Enginge Workforce Lead and CEO. Their overall function is to provide the Director with comprehensive operational, logistical, and administrative support. Major responsibilities include communications and digital presence; event planning and execution; student recruitment, cohort coordination and student support; and tracking participation metrics and programmatic outcomes.

The successful candidate will direct continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts across Innovations’ disseminated practice models, including Wraparound, Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS), FOCUS, and PEARLS. The contribution will be measured in terms of CQI deliverables completed across contracted states and sites.
