Perform all duties associated within a clinical laboratory. Provide accurate and prompt reports to Schiffert Health Center staff. Maintain courteous and professional attitude to SHC patients.
• ASCP Certified, National certification and registry with an accredited agency.
• CLIA or COLA Deemed Status standards are acceptable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of methodologies in all laboratory sections and proper technique in all phases of laboratory science.
• Previous experience performing phlebotomy and processing / preparing specimens according to established procedures.
• Previous experience with complex proficiency testing and laboratory analysis as per CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act) requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot instruments.
• Previous experience working in a complex lab environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with laboratory software programs.
$20-$22/hour, commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
