Job Description

As an integral member of the overall client and patient care team at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center (EMC) this position coordinates the most positive client experience possible. Through a series of outstanding client interactions, the customer service representative (CSR) provides an experience that exceeds our client’s expectations from all duties such as phone/in-person/electronic communications, compassionate interactions during emergency situations, accurate and expeditious patient intake and discharge, thorough appointment scheduling, communicates financial policies in a sensitive manner, and processes financial transactions with the utmost integrity.

Required Qualifications

Previous customer service experience. Ability to manage concurrent tasks efficiently and accurately in a demanding environment. Previous experience with client financial accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service representative experience working in a veterinary or human medicine practice, experience using a human or veterinary practice management information system. Experience scheduling in a multiple-clinician practice. Familiarity with equine anatomy and veterinary terminology. Comfortable with equine patient handling. Current or previously licensed/certified/registered veterinary technician.
