The rapidly growing Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) service at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) provides access to high quality emergency and inpatient care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The Service Liaison responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supporting both the VTH faculty and staff in ensuring clinical and billing information is completed accurately and entered into the VTH electronic medical record system; helping facilitate communication between the ECC, other services in the VTH, and with clients; conducting follow up calls with clients and referring/primary veterinarians, and performing other administrative tasks to support the service’s goals. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a diverse team of professionals.

Previous clerical, office, or customer service experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills both on the telephone and in person; organization skills; demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; strong computer skills; problem solving skills.
Previous experience in a medical or veterinary clinic, urgent care, or emergency department; previous experience using an electronic medical record system; working knowledge of medical terminology.
Starting at $36,501.00, commensurate with experience
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
